Land is one of the best things to invest your money in. Even if it is rural undeveloped areas. As they say, "they aren't making any more land" so get it while you can! The government is often interested in buying rural land for development, preservation, or testing facilities. If the government offers to buy some land from you, then that`s a day to celebrate, because Uncle Sam normally pays top dollar.
Another obvious reason for land purchase is for farming. Without farmers where would we be? I'll tell you where, hungry. I personally would love about 100 acres of pasture and woods, somewhere in the country far away from the noise of neighbors and highways. Many investors buy up land for a cheap price and then sit on it for a few years and sell it for big profit, or they develop it for housing or commercial purposes. There is abundant land for sale out there in this big world, so get your hands on some while you can!
